Vanessa Kronzer M.D. (I ’20, RHEU ’23), received an award, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Vanessa Kronzer M.D. (I ’20, RHEU ’23), Division of Rheumatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the American College of Rheumatology Distinguished Fellow Award for 2023. The award recognizes the top-performing rheumatology fellow based on outstanding contributions in research, patient care and education. By the time she finished her rheumatology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Dr. Kronzer had published 46 manuscripts and received top ratings from patients, residents and medical students for her patient care and education skills. Dr. Kronzer’s long-term goal is to become a clinical and translational scientist improving rheumatoid arthritis prediction, diagnosis and treatment using multiomics approaches. Dr. Kronzer is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
