Vesna Garovic, M.D., Ph.D. (CTSA ’13), chair, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the American Heart Association’s Marvin Moser Clinical Hypertension Award. This award recognizes hypertension clinicians for dedicated treatment and care of patients who are hypertensive. The award was established to honor the memory of Marvin Moser, M.D., one of the leading figures in the field of hypertension, and the inaugural editor-in-chief of The Journal of Clinical Hypertension. Dr. Garovic is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
