Vinayak Nagaraja, M.B.B.S. (CV ’22), selected to partake in the Editorial Fellowship Program, Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato

Vinayak Nagaraja, M.B.B.S. (CV ’22), Division of Community Cardiology in Southwest Minnesota, Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato, Minnesota, was selected to be in the first class of Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (JSCAI) editorial fellows. The JSCAI Editorial Fellowship Program aims to increase involvement in and commitment to the journal peer-review process among early-career researchers by providing fellows-in-training and early-career interventionalists with an opportunity to enhance their skills as reviewers of manuscripts. Paired with an editor specific to their area of interest, JSCAI editorial fellows work with JSCAI deputy and associate editors who have extensive editorial and publishing experience, are introduced to JSCAI editorial procedures and receive training on the peer review system. Dr. Nagaraja is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
