Vlad Vasile, M.D., Ph.D. (MPET ’06, I ’15, CV ’19), leading a Mayo Clinic Team, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Vlad Vasile, M.D., Ph.D. (MPET ’06, I ’15, CV ’19), Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, will help to lead a Mayo Clinic team that will participate in a three-year program of the American Heart Association to promote Lp(a) national awareness. The Lp(a) Discovery Project will foster education and Lp(a) screening strategies. Dr. Vasile is a clinical champion for the program. Dr. Vasile is an assistant professor of medicine and laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
