W. Michael Hooten, M.D. (I ’98, PAIN ’04), has transitioned to medical director, Mayo Clinic Rochester

W. Michael Hooten, M.D. (I ’98, PAIN ’04), Division of Pain Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, has transitioned back to the role of medical director of the Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) team, a role that he previously served in from 2005-2012. Dr. Hooten is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and serves on its Executive Committee. Dr. Hooten is a professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
