William Faubion Jr., M.D., is now dean, Mayo Clinic in Arizona

William Faubion Jr., M.D. (PDGI ’98, GI ’01), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is now dean of Research at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Dr. Faubion succeeds Diane Jelinek, Ph.D. (IMM ’91), who held the position since 2015. The dean of Research provides overall strategic direction for the discovery, translation and application spectrum of research at the Arizona campus. Dr. Faubion has joint appointments in Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, and Department of Immunology. He is a professor of immunology, professor of medicine and professor of pediatrics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
