William Stone, M.D. (S ’88), has been appointed Mayo Clinic’s vice dean of practice. He will report to C. Michel Harper Jr., M.D. (I ’83, N ’86), executive dean of practice.

Dr. Stone will advance the Mayo mission by fostering integration and providing consistent high-value care.

Dr. Stone is a consultant in the Division of Vascular Surgery and a professor of surgery. He has been a member of the Mayo Clinic staff in the Department of Surgery since 1989.
