David O. Warner, M.D. (ANES ’87), of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, and Thulasee Jose, M.D., research fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, received grant funding for COVID-19 and Smoking from the Cancer Center Cessation Initiative (C3I). The purpose of this project is to evaluate associations between smoking and COVID complications.
Dr. Warner is a professor of anesthesiology, and Dr. Jose is an instructor in anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
