    Bringing back free boxed lunches to both campuses to show appreciation for all of the hard work you do for your patients and co-trainees. Where - Methodist: Charlton Building, Subway Level, Room 112 St. Mary’s: Domitilla Building, Main Level, Room 132 When- 12:00-13:30 (while supplies last!)     To all of the new parents looking for resources for baby on the way or recent newborn, let us help with the transition! The survey for care package and guide is checked monthly for new member submissions. What- Resources to provide support upon returning to training after growing your family. Cost- Free!

  • Cycling MFA Member Events: June 5, 2021

    Get your bikes out this spring and explore the Rochester trail system with other Mayo Fellows. Friends, family and cyclists of all levels welcome. Where – Cooke Park 750 7th St NW Rochester, MN 55901 When- June 5 (Saturday) 14:00-16:00 What- Meet up at the picnic shelter at Cooke Park and head to Cascade lake loop. Plan to leave at 1430 and be back after about an hour. Feel free to grab a bite to eat or drink down the street at Old Abe’s to cool down! Cost- Free! _____________________________________________________________ Where – East Silver Lake Park 705 E Silver Lake Drive NE Rochester, MN 55906 When- June 20 (Sunday) 14:00-16:00 What- Meet up at the shelter near East parking lot head through Quarry Hill and loop back from Viola. Plan to leave at 1430 and be back after about an hour. Cost- Free! *Join our new MFA Wellness and Fitness facebook group. This is intended to connect our trainees to local trails, hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing, yoga, meditation and explore activities near Rochester. It is a free forum to post interests and organize meet ups locally. *Have the Peloton App/Bike/Tread? See when other Mayo trainees are working out with #MayoFellows

  • Dog Meet and Greets June 5, 2021

    After a long call week, dog dates can help them burn off energy---and saves the cost of playcare! We hope fellows can build a network of other dog owners to share local grooming/boarding/sitting resources. Where- River Road Dog Park, 5701 W River Rd NW, Rochester, MN 55901 When- 11:00-12:00 (alternating weekend days) May 23 (Sunday) June 05 (Saturday) June 20 (Sunday) July 03 (Saturday) What- Outdoor space for our pups to socialize and make new furry friends Cost- Free!

  • Zoom Trivia and Forager June 19, 2021

    We are bringing the trivia night to you! For the first 75 trainees (+households/families) that sign up will be released on May 19th, so look out for that link to sign up. Where- Your home with Forager To-Go When- June 19 (Friday) 19:00-21:00 What -Zoom platform trivia. All trainees that sign up will receive a $20 Forager gift card and a link to zoom trivia. Participation with trainee roommates, partners, and families encouraged (although only one link/giftcard per MFA member). We will collect teammate preferences and remaining members will be randomized to teams of 5. Winning teams will receive up to $100 gift card to local businesses. Cost- $5
