Kogod Conference on Aging, Oct. 23-25, 2014

The fifth annual Mayo Clinic Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging Conference will be held at Mayo Clinic in Rochester October 23-25, 2014. The theme of this year’s conference is “Frailty and Healthspan:  Bench to Bedside to Home.” Registration is complimentary.

This meeting brings together scientists, clinicians and engineers, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas.  The conference seeks foster research collaborations, act as a springboard for new research grants and directions, and accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries to clinical practice by bringing together an expert and interdisciplinary panel with unique clinical, scientific, and commercial perspectives.

The Alliance for Healthy Aging which includes the Mayo Clinic Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging, the University Medical Center Groningen (Groningen), the University of Groningen, the Noaber Foundation (Lunteren) and Vita Valley (Ede) has held a series of annual meetings dedicated to translational research on aging, alternating in the USA and the Netherlands.
