Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Awards presented to six residents and fellows
Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Awards were presented to residents and fellows at the annual awards celebration for Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education. The event is hosted by the school, Mayo Fellows’ Association and Mayo Clinic Alumni Association.
The award recognizes the qualities associated with Mayo Clinic founders William J. and Charles H. Mayo. Each year since 1997, six residents and fellows training at Arizona, Florida or Rochester are chosen to receive the award based on outstanding clinical performance, humanitarianism and scholarly activity. Two recipients are chosen from each of the three Graduate Education Committees — Internal Medicine, Medical & Laboratory Specialties, and Surgery.
