Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery announces pilot grants
Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery announced recipients of pilot grants. The award provides focused, one-time funds for imaginative proof-of-principle studies or model development needed to lay the foundation for future mechanistic team science projects and grants. Selected projects fuel ideas that with continued support could flower into medical advances for patients who need cures and better treatments. The funded projects represent support for research in Rochester, Arizona and Florida across 17 specialties.
