Mitchell Humphreys, M.D., is new dean of Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development
Mitchell Humphreys, M.D. (U ’06), Department of Urology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, was selected as dean of Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
He will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of continuing professional development across Mayo Clinic, including augmentation of CME course support, development of novel online learning paradigms, direction of national and international consulting ventures, and development of Maintenance of Certification physician support.
Dr. Humphreys is a professor of urology. He succeeds Richard Berger, M.D., Ph.D. (HAND ’90), Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, who has rotated out of the dean’s role after eight years of service.
