It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Dr. Charles Patrick Newcombe (Pat) on 2nd December, aged 99, formerly of York; he moved to Herts to be near family in July. Much loved husband of his beloved, late wife, Barbara, devoted father to Shirley, Joyce and Hazel, much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather, and dear brother to John. He was sole cardiologist in York during the ’60s and ’70s. The family will gather for a private funeral on 20th December in Herts.
