George F. Porretta, M.D. (S ’59)

DR. GEORGE F. PORRETTA, age 85 at rest Thursday, July 3, 2014, beloved husband of Ann Porretta, loving father of six children, Mary (Joseph) Colaccino, Jane (Russ Richardson) Porretta, Angela (Ron) Mack, Charles (Kathleen) Porretta, Therese (Rick Rischal) Porretta and Sarah Porretta; devoted grandfather of eight and dear brother of Charles (Ruth) and Frank (Missy).

He was a gradate and received his medical degree from the University of Michigan, served as a Captain in the US Army and was a surgeon in Detroit and Southfield, MI.
