86, passed away peacefully on June 7th. Joseph was born in Delnice, Croatia, immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island as a young boy, and went on to dedicate his life to the practice of medicine in Colorado. After attending the
University of Washington School of Medicine he served as a Captain and Assistant Chief of Medicine in the United States Air Force. Joseph then went on to complete his medical internship at the
University of Minnesota and Medical Fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine at both the Mayo Foundations and The University of Colorado.
In 1965, he Co-Founded The Denver Cardiology Group, treating thousands of patients throughout the Rocky Mountain area for the following 33 years. He is survived by his loving wife Ann, three children and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
