Lauren Burtz, M.D. (I 2015)

Lauren Elizabeth Burtz, M.D., died unexpectedly on September 13, 2015, in Rochester, MN. She was a second year resident at the Mayo Clinic. A summa cum laude graduate of Clemson University and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Lauren was a consummate medical professional filled with a caring heart and generous spirit. Lauren was an accomplished equestrian who found great joy spending time with horses and especially her horse, Cierra.

Lauren is survived by parents, Mike and Kayanne Burtz; sister, Kristen Taylor and her husband, Zack; grandparents, Doris Miller and Luella Burtz; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many more loving family and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at A.S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Dick Reasoner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
