Murray Dworetzky, M.D. (I ’51)

DWORETZKY–Dr. Murray, beloved husband, father, friend and physician, died May 20, 2017, at age 99. He was an allergist and clinical immunologist in practice in New York City, a researcher, a clinical and emeritus professor at Cornell University Medical College, and was physician-in-charge of New York Hospital’s Allergy Clinic from 1961 – 1988. He was president of the AAAAI in 1968, winning its Distinguished Service and Special Achievement awards. He was president of the NYAAS in 1963. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Barbara Ratner Dworetzky, and his children Joan and Thomas.
