Richard Robb, Ph.D. (PHYS ’73)

Richard Arlin Robb, 77, of Highland, Utah passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family August 29, 2020. Born December 2, 1942 in Price, Utah the son of Max Arilin Robb and Mary Marjorie Feichko. He married Shanna Lee Woodruff June 10, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Richard was very active in his church serving as a Bishop, Stake President and Patriarch.  He worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn. for 43 years as a Biophysicist and ran his own lab there. He loved golfing, fishing, tennis and lecturing at the university. Most of all, he thoroughly enjoyed being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Shanna, children:Kirk (Simone) Robb, Rachelle (Kevin) Parry, Jason Robb, Jeff (Genacie) Robb, 14 grandchildren and his siblings Gary Robb, Sue Smith, Keith Robb.

Due to COVID-19 funeral services will be held by invitation on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Highland 17th Ward, 5335 West 11200 North, Highland.

A viewing will be held for the public Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland. The burial will take place in the Highland City Cemetery.
