Robert Albright Jr., D.O., named regional VP, Mayo Clinic Health System, SE Minnesota

Robert Albright Jr., D.O. (I ’95, NEPH ’96, CCMI ’97, NEPH ’98), chair, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was named regional vice president for Mayo Clinic Health System in Southeast Minnesota. Dr. Albright will lead the regional staff and be responsible for the clinical and financial performance of Southeast Minnesota operations.

Dr. Albright succeeds Bobbie Gostout, M.D. (MED ’86, I ’87, OBG ’91, BIOC ’93, GYNO ’96), president of Mayo Clinic Health System, who has served as interim regional vice president for the Southeast Minnesota Region since January.

Dr. Albright is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
