“Keeping Score” by Charles “Van” Allen, M.D. (I ’62)

Charles “Van” Allen, M.D. (I ’62) has authored Keeping Score, a collection of over 100 essays first published 2000 – 2014 in the Modesto Bee.  The essays cover wide ranging topics include medical economics and practice, local and national politics, education and general observations on the human condition.

Dr. Allen is semi-retired and is the Assistant Medical Director for Physician Recruitment with the Gould Medical Group, Modesto California.
