Stephen Rous, M.D., co-authors ‘Doctors and the Law: A Guide for Physicians Entering Uncharted Waters’
Stephen Rous, M.D. (U ’63), has co-authored the second edition of “Doctors and the Law: A Guide for Physicians Entering Uncharted Waters.” The book is designed to “educate, soothe and encourage anyone entering the stormy seas of litigation.” His co-author of the book, Hon. Hiller Zobel, is a retired justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
Dr. Rous is an emeritus clinical professor of surgery/urology at Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine, an emeritus professor of surgery/urology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and an emeritus professor and chair of urology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He lives in Virginia and sees patients at Langley Air Force Base Hospital. He is a retired colonel in the U.S. Army.
